1-Day Gate Away to Mikumi National Park by Sgr

Experience a day trip to Mikumi National Park starting with an early 4:00 am departure from your Dar es Salaam accommodation for a train journey to Morogoro (departing 6:00 am, arriving 7:45 am). From there, your safari guide will transport you to Mikumi (arriving around 10:00 am) for an immersive game drive. You'll discover the park's varied habitats, from open plains to hippo-filled wallows, and keep an eye out for diverse wildlife like lions, buffalo, giraffes, and a rich birdlife. You'll enjoy lunch at the Park Bandas around 2:00 pm before continuing your exploration, with a special focus on the hippo pools. In the late afternoon (around 4:00 pm), you'll return to Morogoro by road to catch the 7:25 pm train back to Dar es Salaam, arriving at 9:05 pm, followed by a transfer to your hotel.
