Start your day with an unforgettable journey into the Okavango Delta, combining tranquil water exploration and thrilling wildlife viewing in one of Botswana’s most iconic reserves.
Morning – Mokoro Experience
After an early pickup, you’ll transfer to the mokoro station on the Delta’s edge. Step into a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) and glide silently through crystal-clear waterways, papyrus channels, and lily-covered lagoons. Depending on water levels and location, you may also enjoy a short guided walk on one of the islands, and learn about the plants, animal tracks, and natural history of the area.
Afternoon – Game Drive in Moremi Game Reserve
The afternoon is dedicated to a guided 4x4 game drive through Moremi’s diverse landscapes open floodplains, riverine forests, mopane woodland, and savannah.
Return
As the sun begins to drop, you’ll exit the reserve and drive back to Maun, arriving in the early evening after a full day of adventure and exceptional safari memories.

Enjoy a final morning in the heart of the wilderness before your journey back to Maun.
Your day begins with an early breakfast at camp, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature waking up bird calls, rustling trees, and the distant echoes of wildlife.
After breakfast, you’ll depart on a morning game drive as you make your way out of Moremi Game Reserve. This is your last opportunity to spot the reserve’s incredible wildlife, and mornings are often the best time to see predators returning from night hunts, as well as elephants, buffalo, antelope, and an abundance of birdlife active in the cool hours.
Leaving the reserve, you’ll continue the road journey back toward Maun, arriving in time for your onward. You will be dropped off directly at Maun Airport, with assistance provided for check-in timing and luggage, concluding your Botswana safari smoothly and comfortably.
