After breakfast, depart from Arusha for a day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Tarangire is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. With a year-round water source, the Tarangire River attracts large numbers of animals, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a full-day game drive, taking in the park’s varied ecosystems and wildlife. After a day of adventure, proceed to your lodge for dinner and overni.

Lake Eyasi – Cultural Encounters

On your second day, visit Lake Eyasi, a hidden gem in northern Tanzania. The lake is famous for its indigenous tribes, including the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in the world. You’ll spend the morning learning about their ancient survival techniques, including hunting and gathering, as well as their unique lifestyle. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Datoga tribe, known for their blacksmithing and traditional crafts. After your cultural experience, you’ll enjoy lunch and head back to your lodge for the evening.

Day 3

On your final day, journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most famous wildlife destinations in Africa. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this massive caldera is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Spend the day exploring its different ecosystems, from open grasslands to dense forests and swamps. Look for elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and flamingos as well as hundreds of other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your game drive. After an exhilarating day, ascend back to the crater rim and begin your drive back to Arusha for your drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
