Day 1

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you'll hop into a 4x4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle, ready to explore Tarangire National Park. Known for having the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania, Tarangire is home to massive herds of up to 300 elephants that dig into the dry riverbeds in search of underground streams.

The park also hosts migratory wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands, making it one of the richest wildlife areas outside the Serengeti ecosystem. It’s a haven for predators and the only place in Tanzania where dry-country antelopes like the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the unique long-necked gerenuk are regularly spotted. After a full day of thrilling game drives, you'll be taken to your lodge in the evening to relax.

Known for its vast, endless plains—referred to as "serengit" by the Maasai—Serengeti National Park is often considered the ultimate wildlife destination. It’s home to hundreds of lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, millions of wildebeests, thousands of zebras, gazelles, and countless bird species, just to name a few.

The park is internationally renowned for the Great Migration, where over a million wildebeests and thousands of zebras make their annual journey across the plains. Instead of describing it all, we’ll let the experience speak for itself. Enjoy a thrilling game drive until the evening, when you'll be transferred to your camp for a warm shower, dinner, and a restful overnight stay.
