Day 1

Arrival begins with a light aircraft flight onto the Khwai Airstrip from Maun or Kasane. Upon landing, you'll take a short game drive transfer to Khwai Expedition Camp, a semi-permanent tented camp located on a private concession in the Khwai Community Area. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive through the floodplains and riverine forests, where you can expect to see elephants, wild dogs, hippos, and abundant birdlife. In the evening, return to camp for dinner under the stars followed by storytelling around the campfire.

Day 2

Begin the day with an early morning game drive along the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. The Khwai area offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Return to camp in the late morning for a hearty bush brunch. Afterward, relax with a midday siesta or opt for a peaceful mokoro excursion, gliding silently through the Khwai River channels by traditional dugout canoe (seasonal availability). In the evening, head out on a spotlight safari, as Khwai is one of the few areas where night drives are permitted.

Day 3

Begin the day with an early breakfast overlooking the Delta before bidding farewell to Khwai. A light aircraft transfer takes you to the Savuti Airstrip, followed by a scenic game drive en route to Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge. This drive passes through the Savuti Channel area, renowned for its dramatic predator-prey interactions. In the afternoon, head out on safari to explore the Savuti Marsh, home to lions, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants. Conclude the day with sundowners on the lodge’s panoramic deck as the sun sets over the landscape.

Day 4

Begin the day with a morning game drive, venturing deeper into the Savuti region, known for its large lion prides and frequent leopard sightings. After exploring, enjoy a picnic-style bush breakfast surrounded by wilderness. Return to Ghoha Hills for lunch and a relaxing afternoon overlooking the waterhole below. In the late afternoon, head out again to track predators and elephants along ancient migration routes. The day ends with a boma dinner under the stars, sharing stories from the bush.

Begin the day with one final sunrise game drive, taking in the raw beauty of Savuti for a final time. Afterward, return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast with views of the bushveld. Later, board a light aircraft for your transfer back to Maun or Kasane for your onward journey.
