After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara with a packed lunch in hand. Cheetahs here are so accustomed to vehicles that they may use them for shade or vantage points to spot prey. Masai Mara-Lake Nakuru

Begin your day with an early morning pick-up and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, situated just across the equator, south of Bogoria. Lake Nakuru, one of the most famous lakes in the Rift Valley, is renowned for its stunning population of flamingos. Its alkaline waters have earned it a spot as one of the natural wonders of the world. The park is now a sanctuary for rhinos, home to over 40 black rhinos and 60 white rhinos, making it a crucial conservation site. However, the flamingos remain the star attraction, with up to two million of these vibrant birds sometimes flocking to the lake, creating a breathtaking sight of deep pink along the shore. After arriving in time for lunch, you’ll set off on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.
