After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and head north toward the rugged landscapes of Samburu. The scenic drive takes you through dramatic highlands and traditional villages before the terrain shifts to arid savannahs. Upon arriving at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge, settle in and enjoy a hearty lunch. In the late afternoon, embark on your first Samburu game drive, searching for unique species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali ostrich. As dusk falls, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.
