Day 2
Nairobi to Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi at 10:30 and arrive in Masai Mara at 11:15, Estimated Flying Time: 45 minutes.
After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for a scenic flight to the iconic Maasai Mara.
Kenya’s most renowned wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, we will settle into our lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, we head out for our first game drive, where you will have the opportunity to see the Big Five and other wildlife species in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meals and your overnight stay will be at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 3-4

Masai Mara
Spend more time exploring the vast Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives as we search for the abundant wildlife that inhabits the area. During the game drives, you may witness the incredible spectacle of the Great Migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River. Between game drives, you can relax at the lodge or participate in an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn about the traditional lifestyle and culture of the Maasai people (additional cost). In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5-6
Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch and drive to the Northern Serengeti in Tanzania (estimated driving distance: 7–9 hrs). The journey takes you through the Isebania border crossing, where immigration formalities are completed. Upon entering the Serengeti, embark on a game drive en route to Enkutoto Migration Camp, spotting various wildlife along the way. Arrive at the camp in the late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings before dinner.

Today, we explored the northern Serengeti with a morning game drive, known for its remote and less crowded areas, providing excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. After your morning game drive, enjoy a scenic bush lunch set up by your guide before continuing with an afternoon game drive. Later, drive to Enkutoto Migration Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8
Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a transfer game drive to Central Serengeti, enjoying further wildlife sightings and breathtaking landscapes along the way. Keep an eye out for cat families lingering on the road as they avoid the morning mist, or a pride of lionesses organizing a morning ambush. You may also spot nocturnal predators returning from a long night of hunting, alongside other animals waking to start a new day in the Serengeti. Continue the game drive until late afternoon before arriving at Dove Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater tour.
You'll descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater (more precisely a caldera). This 304 square kilometer enclosed ecosphere was formed some two or three million years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano once higher than Kilimanjaro and offers the best game viewing opportunities in all of Tanzania. You'll explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos, and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. With some 25,000 large mammals within the caldera, you will have the opportunity to see, in addition to the Big Five animals such as wildebeest, gazelle, reedbuck, bushbuck, hartebeest, hippo, both Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, impalas, as well as over 500 bird species. Lunch to be served at the Crater Rim. After lunch drive to Kitela Lodge for Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive, where you will explore the park’s diverse landscapes and encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes and numerous bird species.
Late afternoon drive to Serian Tarangire Camp for Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before departing for Kilimanjaro around noon for your evening flight back home.
