Incredible. Simply one of a kind
Our Tanzania safari and Zanzibar vacation with Wild Pride Safaris was truly the trip of a lifetime and exceeded every expectation we had. Our travel advisor Lilian was the best of the best. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania until the end of our trip, everything was incredibly well organized, seamless, and thoughtfully planned. Our itinerary took us through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti before finishing with several relaxing days in Zanzibar, and it was the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation.
The absolute highlight of our safari was our guide, Andrew. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Andrew was absolutely AMAZING and played such a huge part in making this trip as special as it was. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals, the parks, the landscape, and Tanzania in general, and we learned so much from him throughout our time together. He seemed to know exactly where to go and what to look for, and his experience was obvious from the very beginning.
More than that, Andrew was genuinely such a pleasure to spend our days with. When you are on safari, you spend a lot of time with your guide, and we could not have asked for a better person to experience Tanzania with. He was patient, kind, professional, fun, and always made sure we were comfortable and having the best experience possible. By the end of the safari, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. If you book with Wild Pride Safaris, ask for Andrew! He made an already incredible trip completely unforgettable.
The wildlife viewing was beyond anything we could have imagined. We saw the big five, along with hundreds of animals every single day. We saw multiple leopards, rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and so much more. We were also lucky enough to see babies and cubs, which made the experience even more special. There were days when it felt like every few minutes Andrew was pointing out another incredible animal or getting us into the perfect position to watch something happen.
Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti were especially unforgettable. The itinerary gave us a full crater experience before continuing into the Serengeti, followed by several days of game drives there, which gave us so much time to experience the wildlife rather than feeling rushed from place to place.
Every game drive was different, and somehow each one seemed to top the last. Seeing these animals in the wild and being able to sit quietly and watch them in their natural environment is something we will never forget.
The accommodations were also incredible throughout the entire trip. We stayed at Kahawa House, Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, Kitela Lodge, and Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge during the safari portion before traveling to Zanzibar.
Every property was beautiful, extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff everywhere we stayed were welcoming and attentive, and the service and amenities were fantastic. We especially loved the experience of staying in the tented lodges—it gave us the feeling of truly being immersed in the safari while still having all of the comforts and amenities of a luxury vacation.
After the safari, ending the trip in Zanzibar was perfect. We stayed at Diamonds Mapenzi Beach and then Lux Marijani Zanzibar, giving us several days to relax on the beach after all of our safari adventures.
What impressed us most about Wild Pride Safaris was how smoothly everything came together. There are so many moving pieces involved in a trip like this—different parks, lodges, long drives, game drives, flights and transfers—but we never felt like we had to worry about anything. We were able to simply enjoy Tanzania and the experience in front of us.
This was easily one of the best trips we have ever taken. Between seeing the Big Five, multiple leopards and rhinos, babies and cubs, hundreds of animals every day, the incredible accommodations, the beautiful scenery, and especially having Andrew as our guide, we could not have asked for a better experience.
We would 100% recommend Wild Pride Safaris to anyone considering a safari in Tanzania, and we would absolutely travel with them again. If we are lucky enough to return to Tanzania someday, there is no question that we would choose Wild Pride Safaris again—and we would absolutely request Andrew as our guide.

Abdi was a real pleasure to spend 6 days safari. He was informative and enthusiastic and just great
We travelled to Tanzania for a 6 day safari. Lilian was so helpful in planning the trip. Once we arrived Abdi our guide collected us at the airport in Arusha. Our trip included Tarangire National park, Ngorongoro Crater ,northern Serengeti and Central Serengeti. We spotted the Big Five thanks to Abdi’s expertise. We saw so many beautiful and jaw dropping scenes of the stunning African animals in the unique landscapes. In Each camp and lodge we stayed in, we were hosted by the warmest friendliest people. At night, we could hear lions roaring and hyenas singing. The sunsets and bush fires in the evening were so cool. We paid a visit to a traditional Masai tribe village. On the last day of safari, Abdi had a special lunch for us with sparkling apple juice. The 4 of us had a truly memorable safari experience. Abdi then dropped to the airport and we flew to Zanzibar. We were collected from the airport and brought to Zanzibar Magic Boutique hotel. The 4 of us just loved this chilled out boutique hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We got 2 gorgeous yoga classes with Farah. The views of the ocean from the breakfast table were like something from a movie set. We did some great day trips to Prison island and Mnemba island. Every transfer for every trip was organised to perfection by the Wild pride team. I would recommend the Wild pride unreservedly to organise your once in a lifetime trip to Africa

Incredible experience from beginning to end - attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and thorough
From the very beginning, Lilian was super responsive, thoughtful, and clear regarding different itinerary options. She offered great insights and suggestions without being "pushy" and helped us quickly determine the tour that made the most sense for us. All of the communications were professional, timely, and incredibly clear. We were frankly "blown away" with the extremely high quality of all of the email responses from Lilian. She was always positive, encouraging, and eager to help.
Once we arrived in Arusha, the tour was everything promised. We were met by our driver/guide (Elisante) who was similarly professional, courteous, and eager to help. Once again, we were incredibly pleased and appreciative of everything Elisante did to help us enjoy our safari experience. First, we were suitably pleased with his excellent driving - careful, diligent, good pace, and always alert - especially in comparison to some of the driving we witnessed from others. Second, he had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife - almost as if he knew what was coming. Third, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area, roads, and where to find the wildlife - provided great insights and responses to the many questions we posed to him. We saw everything we wanted - had some incredible interactions and got some amazing photos. Last, but not least, his positive and pleasant disposition was refreshing - he was always smiling and helpful.
Overall, we had a phenomenal experience and would highly recommend Wild Pride Safaris based on our experience. First class!

We had the pleasure of going on our honeymoon with Wild Pride Safari, and it was a 5-day adventure through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater that we will never forget.
