Your 5-day safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you head to Arusha National Park, a beautiful and diverse destination perfect for starting your adventure. The park offers a mix of lush forests, open plains, sparkling Momella Lakes and the impressive backdrop of Mount Meru. As you enjoy a relaxed game drive, you may spot giraffes, buffalo, zebras, warthogs and the iconic black-and-white colobus monkeys. The scenic Ngurdoto Crater, often called a “Little Ngorongoro,” provides spectacular views and rich wildlife. You will be picked up from the hotel in Arusha, where your unforgettable safari adventure begins. Enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania’s beautiful countryside as you head toward Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its majestic baobab trees and vast herds of wildlife, offering a truly magical start to your journey.

As you explore the park, you’ll witness remarkable scenes herds of up to 300 elephants digging in the ancient riverbeds for hidden water, while wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests and elands gather around the remaining lagoons.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” for an unforgettable 6-hour game drive. As you explore this natural wildlife haven, keep watch for the legendary Big Five the powerful lion, elusive leopard, majestic elephant, sturdy buffalo and the rare black rhino.

Midday, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok Spring, surrounded by hippos basking in the water, playful warthogs, towering giraffes, baboons and a vibrant array of birdlife.

After this enriching experience, you’ll ascend the crater rim and begin your journey back toward Arusha, passing through the lively landscapes around Mto wa Mbu, with a final chance to spot wildlife and local life along the way.
