Nairobi to Samburu

Depart Nairobi early in a private 4x4 safari vehicle with your professional guide. Enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s lush central highlands, past Mt. Kenya and the equator. Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch and check in. Relax before heading out for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, head out on morning and afternoon game drives, exploring the dry plains, riverine forests, and unique wildlife. Watch for lions, elephants, leopards, and the Samburu Special Five (reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx). Enjoy downtime at the camp’s riverfront pool or bar between game drives.
