Your journey takes approximately 7 hours, and upon arrival, check into your accommodation, the Chimpanzee Forest Lodge, located near a tranquil crater lake. Take in the serene surroundings as you unwind after a long day of travel.

After an early breakfast, you’ll set off with a specialized guide who will lead you through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family.
The trek can be challenging, as you navigate through thick vegetation and steep terrain, but the reward is unparalleled. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll spend an unforgettable hour observing them as they interact, play, and feed in their natural habitat. The experience of being so close to these incredible creatures is truly life-changing.

The drive back to Entebbe will take approximately 9 hours, providing a final opportunity to soak in the scenic beauty of Uganda. If you have an evening flight, you’ll be dropped off at the airport, or you may choose to add an extra night for more exploration.
