After an early breakfast, your KiliClimb Africa Safaris driver-guide will meet you at your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park.
Named after the life-giving Tarangire River that winds through its heart, this park is a hidden gem known for its massive elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and the rare tree-climbing African pythons. Spanning approximately 2,850 square kilometers, Tarangire offers a unique blend of wildlife and landscapes found nowhere else.
You’ll spend the day on an unforgettable game drive, tracking animals across open plains, woodlands, and along the riverbanks. Keep your camera ready—this park is home to lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch with a panoramic view of the river, where elephants and other wildlife often gather.

Today, your adventure leads you into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, the heart of the Great Migration. The journey begins with a breathtaking ascent through the Ngorongoro Highlands. A quick stop at the crater rim reveals stunning panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater—a glimpse into the prehistoric beauty of the region. As you continue, the landscape opens into the iconic Serengeti, whose name in Kiswahili means “endless plains.” Spanning 18,000 square kilometers, this vast savannah supports over two million animals, including over a million wildebeest and huge populations of zebra and gazelle. With such prey in abundance, predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas thrive here. Smaller creatures like mongoose, jackals, monkeys, and over 500 species of birds also flourish. Start your day with breakfast at 7:00 AM, then depart the lodge by 8:00 AM for a scenic 60 km drive along paved roads to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, this compact 330 sq km park offers rich biodiversity within five distinct vegetation zones. With a packed lunch in hand, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting an impressive range of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, warthogs, baboons, and various monkey species. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 350 recorded species and seasonal gatherings of flamingos coloring the lake’s shoreline.
