In the afternoon, unwind at Chemka Hot Springs with a refreshing soak and natural fish pedicure, before heading back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arusha to Tarangire national park

Your safari adventure begins after a hearty breakfast, with pickup from your lodge at 7:40 AM. A scenic two-hour drive brings you to Tarangire National Park, famed for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a thrilling game drive across savannas, seasonal swamps, and along the Tarangire River, where you'll spot a wide variety of wildlife—from giraffes, zebras, and impalas to lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and countless bird species. As the sun sets, you’ll head to for a Eileen's Trees Inn, dinner and a restful overnight stay in cozy midrange comfort.

Karatu to serengeti national park

After breakfast, your journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park begins. The drive, which takes about 4–5 hours over scenic and sometimes rugged terrain, offers captivating views and the chance to spot wildlife along the way. As you ascend the crater highlands, enjoy a brief stop—weather permitting—at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking panorama of the vast caldera below. Continuing onward, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch en route before entering the Serengeti for an exciting afternoon game drive. As the sun sets over the plains, you’ll make your way to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After finishing breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll have another chance to spot incredible wildlife in the golden light of day. Around midday, you’ll begin your transfer towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic drive as you leave the plains behind and ascend toward the crater highlands. Upon arrival, you will check in and spend the night at Eileen's Trees Inn, located near the crater rim, where dinner will be served and you’ll settle in for an overnight stay.

Ngorongo crater

Begin your day with an early descent into the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater at 6:00 AM. Spanning 260 square kilometers with a diameter of about 20 kilometers, this natural wonder offers a rich diversity of wildlife set against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery. Spend around five hours exploring the crater floor, where you may encounter a wide range of East African wildlife—including the rare and endangered black rhino.
