After an early breakfast, depart Arusha at 7:00 AM for the renowned Tarangire National Park—just under a 2-hour scenic drive. Upon arrival, your guide will assist with park registration before you begin an exciting day of wildlife exploration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, then continue your game drive into the afternoon, spotting iconic African wildlife before heading to your lodge for a delicious dinner and restful overnight stay. Tarangire is famed for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River—a vital water source during the dry season.
