Your Rehoboth Safaris guide will pick you up from your accommodation after breakfast for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately two and a half hours away on well-maintained tarmac roads. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. It is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and breathtaking landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees. During your game drive, you may encounter giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and an array of predators, including lions and leopards. A delicious picnic lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s designated picnic sites before continuing your afternoon exploration.

After breakfast, you will drive into the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Following this, you will continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation area until you reach the southern part of Serengeti National Park.
The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular known for its vast open grasslands that provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. While it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, it is especially famous for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may witness one of the seven wonders of the world, as vast numbers of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope migrate in search of water and fresh grass.

After a heartly breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying spectacular views and wildlife along thew way. Spend an unforgettable afternoon exploring this natural wonder before heading to your accommodation in Karatu.
Encircle by towering volcanic walls, Ngorongoro crater is a breathtaking sanctuary teeming with life. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features golden savannahs, shimmering lakes, lush swamps, and acacia woodlands. Formed over 2 million years ago after a massive volcanic eruption, it is the world's largest unbroken caldera.
Descending into crater is an adventure, offering unparalleled views at every turn. On the crater floor, you will find herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species, from flamingos to crowned cranes. Its also one of the few places to spot in the endangered black rhino grazing in the grasslands.

This morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park-your final destination on this epic safari! Lake Manyara National Park is the small but diverse park120km west to Arusha. Everything you will see here is on a different scale. It is both compact (one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara western boundary)
The park's namesake is a shallow salt like. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons, and is home to thousands of wading birds (including flamingos and over 500 bird species). You may see baboons and elephants in the park's thick evergreen forest and look out for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa.
