Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Serengeti

Transfer to Serengeti: Depart for Serengeti National Park. You can choose between a scenic flight (approximately 1 hour) to one of the park's airstrips or a road trip that takes about 5-6 hours. The drive offers stunning views of Tanzania's landscapes, including the Great Rift Valley.

Afternoon: Upon arrival, check into your accommodation, which could range from mid-range lodges to luxury tented camps depending on your package choice. Enjoy lunch at your lodge/camp.
Evening Game Drive: After lunch, embark on your first game drive in the Central Serengeti. This area is known for its high density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, and various antelope species.

Ngorongoro Crater Excursion

Early Departure to Ngorongoro Crater: Depart early after breakfast for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 2 hours' drive). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its unique ecosystem and abundant wildlife.
Crater Tour: Descend into the crater floor for a half-day game drive. Expect to see diverse wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, black rhinos, and numerous bird species around Lake Magadi.
Lunch in the Crater: Enjoy lunch within the crater before continuing your exploration.
Return Journey to Serengeti: Ascend back up after lunch and head back to Serengeti National Park for another evening game drive if time permits.

Final Game Drive and Departure

Transfer Back to Arusha: Depending on whether you are flying or driving back, depart either via road or take a flight back from one of the airstrips in Serengeti directly to Arusha Airport.
