Arrive in Maun
The journey begins in Maun, where guests are met and flown into the heart of the Okavango Delta. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a vast inland delta teeming with life, known for its labyrinth of channels, seasonal floodplains, and lush islands. Here, guests stay in a private mobile camp set up exclusively for the group, with spacious en-suite 6x3 metre Sahara-style tents, hot bucket showers, and flushing toilets. Days are filled with mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions and guided game drives, ideal for spotting hippos, elephants, and the rich birdlife that flourishes in this watery paradise.
The Khwai Private Concession, a community-managed wildlife area bordering the Moremi Game Reserve is known for its exceptional predator sightings, particularly leopard and African wild dog. Game drives in Khwai offer superb photography opportunities, especially at dawn and dusk, when the bush comes alive. Night drives are also available here.
