After a hearty breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for Lake Natron, a four-hour drive from Tarangire. This mineral-rich soda lake lies in northern Ngorongoro district. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy lunch. Post-lunch, embark on a four-hour bird-watching (or flamingo walk) activity at Lake Natron, where you may spot flamingos and other birds. Afterward, return to your lodge for a freshly prepared dinner. Rest well to recharge for another exciting day.

The Serengeti is one of the biggest parks in Tanzania. The vast open spaces of the plains provide an impressive feeling of freedom. You will drive along Lake Natron, the heart of the Maasailand, before reaching the Serengeti gate.

This semi-arid environment attracts many waterbirds and is an important site for the breeding and nesting of the lesser flamingo. Upon arrival, you go on your first game drive while making your way towards the camp.
