Day 1

Your unforgettable safari begins early as your transfer driver picks you up from your Zanzibar hotel and takes you to the airport for a scenic flight to Arusha (approx. 1 hour). Upon arrival, your private KiliClimb Africa Safaris guide will greet you warmly and begin the 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park—a haven for massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Today, your cultural adventure begins early with a 5:30 a.m. departure to Lake Eyasi, carrying a packed breakfast for the road. Upon arrival, you’ll meet the Hadzabe people—one of Tanzania’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. Known for their traditional lifestyle and unique click language, the Hadza offer an unforgettable glimpse into a way of life that has remained unchanged for centuries.

Join them on a guided morning hunt, where they track small game like dik-diks and forage for wild honey using ancient skills passed down through generations. This immersive experience offers a rare opportunity to connect with a deeply rooted culture.

After an inspiring morning, you’ll return to Karatu and relax at the beautiful and luxurious Marera Mountain View Lodge, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views, fine service, and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast at the lodge, your journey begins with a scenic 90-minute drive to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. This vast, unbroken caldera spans about 20 kilometers across and shelters an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino.

You’ll descend into the crater for an unforgettable 6-hour game drive through its diverse landscapes, from grassy plains to freshwater swamps. Midday, enjoy a packed lunch at the stunning Ngoitoktok picnic site, with views of Hippo Lake and its resident wildlife.

Following lunch, continue exploring the crater’s wonders before beginning your drive back to Arusha Airport, where you’ll catch your evening flight to Zanzibar.
