Day 1

Your Zanzibar hotel marks the beginning of your unforgettable safari journey. You'll be picked up and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for a scenic 1.5-hour flight. As you soar above the Indian Ocean, the Tanzanian mainland, the Ngorongoro Highlands, and the endless plains of the Serengeti, prepare for breathtaking aerial views before landing at Seronera Airstrip.

Within 30 minutes of arrival, you'll hop into a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, perfectly designed for game viewing. By midday, enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, where you can relax and stretch before continuing your wildlife adventure.

As the sun sets, we'll head to your signature luxury tented camp, where a delicious dinner and a serene overnight stay await, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Pause for a delicious lunch at the crater’s base. Known as one of the Eight Wonders of the World, the crater is a vital sanctuary for diverse wildlife. During your drive, you’re likely to spot large elephant bulls, the endangered black rhino, and herds of wildebeest and zebra. The area is also home to gazelles, hippos, Cape buffalo, lions, hyenas, serval cats, jackals, and nearly 400 bird species. After an afternoon of wildlife exploration, return to Arusha for a delightful dinner and overnight Tulia Hotel AND spa.

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Materuni Village and complete your registration at the village office. Your adventure begins with a 40-minute walk to the stunning waterfalls, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool at the base—don’t forget your swimwear! After taking in the breathtaking views, return to the village with your guide for a traditional Chagga lunch and a taste of local banana beer. Next, immerse yourself in the coffee experience walking tours, learning about the entire process from planting to roasting. You’ll even have the chance to grind the coffee yourself, accompanied by lively Chagga songs and dances. In the evening, depart for Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
