Lake Manyara National Park

Early pick up from the Airport or Based hotel in Arusha.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives. Although Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania's smaller parks, it offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. The lakeshore at Manyara is rich in birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you may also spot the elusive tree-climbing lions. You may encounter a surprising variety of other large mammals, such as elephants and buffalo!

At noon, you will enjoy a packed lunch at the picnic site while taking in the beautiful sounds of the surrounding birds. After lunch, you will proceed to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Today, we will head to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, there will be an opportunity to visit a Maasai village located near the Ngorongoro area. We will continue on to Serengeti for afternoon game drives.

From December to March, we typically encounter the migration, which features large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. In addition, there are many resident animals such as giraffes, buffalo, and elephants, along with numerous large predators like lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Serengeti Serena Lodge or a similar facility.

You will have a full day in this wonderful park, starting early to maximize our time. Our guides will select the best viewing locations based on the season. We can spend time at the hippo pool, observing these majestic animals as they relax in the cool water alongside crocodiles. Additionally, we will have the opportunity to watch a large pride of lions and more.

Ngorongoro Crater

We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On arrival descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, and rhino
Enjoy your picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Late afternoon you will ascend the crater walls and drive to Karatu Area for overnight stay.
