On arrival in Madagascar, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Ivato International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo.

Welcome to Madagascar's colorful capital city. Situated in the heart of the central highlands, Antananarivo – often abbreviated to Tana – first served as the capital of the homegrown Imerina Kingdom more than 400 years ago, and it has remained the island's most important urban center ever since. Antananarivo makes for a charming introduction to Madagascar, thanks to its attractively hilly location, wealth of historic buildings, comfortable climate, cosmopolitan culture and delicious French-influenced cuisine.

You’ll land in the vibrant capital and be greeted by your guide. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a first taste of Malagasy culture or relax in your hotel before the adventure begins.

Transfer To Andasibe-Mantadia National Park | Explore Vakona Reserve

After breakfast, you will be driven to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park.

Today, head east from Antananarivo to Andasibe, a lush rainforest destination about 4 hours away. On arrival, visit the Vakona Reserve, famous for its lemur island where you can encounter friendly lemurs up close. The reserve also features crocodiles and endemic bird species. After the visit, settle into your lodge for the night, surrounded by the soothing sounds of the forest.

This is one of the most rewarding destinations for viewing a good variety of lemurs in the wild. For first-time visitors, Andasibe-Mantadia is a great place to get to grips with the island's more widespread forest birds, while serious bird-watchers come here in the hope of spotting four species of colorful ground-roller. Other inhabitants of this wonderful forest include foot-long chameleons and more than 100 species of dainty tree frog.

Guided Morning Walk In Analamazaotra National Park | Guided Night Walk In Mitsinjo Forest

In the morning, set out for a guided exploration of Analamazaotra National Park, where you’ll be greeted by the distinct calls of the Indri Indri. Walk along forest trails, spotting chameleons, birds, and various lemur species.

Analamazaotra National Park is the sector of Andasibe-Mantadia National Park where it is easiest to see the indri, a large and eagerly sought after back-and-white lemur.

In the evening, venture into the Mitsinjo Reserve for a nocturnal walk, discovering Madagascar’s mysterious night creatures, including tiny frogs, chameleons, and nocturnal lemurs.

After breakfast, enjoy a final stroll in the area before departing Andasibe. Drive back to Antananarivo, passing through picturesque rural landscapes and quaint villages. On arrival, relax at your hotel or explore the capital’s markets for some last-minute souvenirs.

Practically all roads and flights in Madagascar lead to or from the capital Antananarivo. Fortunately, though, most people agree it's no hardship to return to this characterful city and spend more time enjoying its unique urban Malagasy atmosphere.

Last Day In Madagascar | Transfer To The Airport | Fly To Ethiopia | City Tour

After having an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Ivato International Airport for your scheduled flight to Ethiopia. Upon arrival in Ethiopia, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and be transferred to Addis Ababa for a city tour.

You will be visiting Haile Selassie’s former palace which is the now home of the Ethnological museum. Exhibits here represent the best of the arts and crafts of the country and give an in-depth insight into the various peoples of Ethiopia.

You will also visit the National Museum, known to be the best museum in Africa, where cultural and archaeological relics and hominid displayed. Drive to Mountain Entoto for panoramic view of the city At the end of the day you will see the Mercato, eastern Africa’s largest market.

Fly To Bahir Dar | Visit The Blue Nile Falls | Boat Ride | Visit Local Market

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your scheduled flight to Bahir Dar.

On arrival, you will be driven to the Blue Nile falls (Tis Issat), about 45 minutes by road from Bahir dar followed by a 30 minute walk from the road to the falls. Here, the Blue Nile starts its journey to the Mediterranean.

Afternoon visit Boat trip on Lake Tana will take you to the great water system that gives the Blue Nile its tremendous power. This boat trip also provides the opportunity to view magnificently preserved island monasteries of the thirteenth century including the visit of ancient church and treasury of Ura Kidane Mehret at Zeghie Peninsula and Azua
Mariam.

If time permits visit the local market. In late afternoon drive to the close by hill to view the city and the Nile leaving lake Tana to start its journey to Mediterranean sea.

Travel To Gondar | Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will be driven to Gondar. On arrival, you will go sight seeing tour of Gondar; visit the castles compound, Ruin palaces, Bath of King Fasiledes (1632-1667 G.C) and visit Debre Berhan Sellasie Church famous for its wall and amp; ceiling paints of 18th Century.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Gondar Airport for your flight to Lalibela.

On arrival, you will visit the eleven monolithic & semi monolithic of the 12th century Churches that are classified in to two cluster (eastern & Western) you will see the first group of the churches. Great history is unfolded and shared through story telling.
