Scenic Safari Through Tarangire National Park

Your journey kicks off with a morning pickup from your hotel at Moshi by your professional safari guide. Enjoy a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a breathtaking landscape famed for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds.

In a comfortable, open-roof safari vehicle, you’ll traverse through a variety of habitats—seasonal swamps, rolling savannahs, and along the Tarangire River, which draws countless animals during the dry season. As you explore, keep watch for giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, and elephants.

Around midday, enjoy a freshly prepared picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. The afternoon brings continued wildlife viewing as you delve deeper into the park’s diverse terrain.

Your day begins early with a pickup by your experienced driver-guide for the journey to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural marvel often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Home to approximately 25,000 large animals, the crater offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. As you traverse its rich mosaic of grassy plains, acacia woodlands, and freshwater pools, you’ll have the chance to spot some of Africa’s most iconic species. Look out for black rhinos, elusive leopards, mighty black-maned lions, and vast herds of buffalo, zebras, and wildebeests.

After an exhilarating morning of game viewing, enjoy a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of the crater. In the early afternoon, you’ll ascend back to the rim and begin your return journey, with drop-off in Moshi or at the airport, depending on your schedule.
