On arrival in Addis Ababa you will be met by Enat Ethiopia Tours Representatives at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Addis was founded in 1886 by Menelik II, and situated at an elevation of around 2438m which makes third highest capital city in the world. Addis Ababa enjoys an excellent climate all year round, with an average temperature of 25°C. We will start our site-seeing by National museum which houses some of the country’s historic treasures. The collection of fossils and bones of early hominids discovered in Ethiopia include the 3.5 million year old remains of ‘Lucy’, the oldest hominid every found. Proceed visiting to the two major highlights of the city, the Ethnographic Museum and the church of the Holy Trinity, Ethiopia’s main cathedral and home to the remains of the last emperor, Haile Selassie. Overnight: Addis Addis Ababa.

Day 2

Arrival Turmi Arrive at Jinka (BCO) airport and be greeted by your driver and guide. Embark on a scenic 130 km drive (2 hours) to Turmi, passing through picturesque landscapes. En route, witness the vibrant Aari, Banna, or Hamar tribal markets (on market days). Immerse yourself in the heart of Hamar culture with a visit to a remote village, experiencing their authentic way of life. Optional: Attend captivating tribal ceremonies like the Hamar Bull Jumping or Evangadi Dancing. Overnight stay at Emerland Turmi.

Day 3
Drive to Karo and Jinka
Drive to Karo and Jinka
Encounter with the Karo Tribe and Return to Jinka Begin your day with a scenic drive to Karo Korcho village (65 km, 1/30 hour/mins), home to the fascinating Karo people. Engage in genuine interactions with the Karo tribe, renowned for their intricate body and face paintings. Experience the unique opportunity to have your face and/or body painted in traditional Kara style. Afterward, return to Turmi for lunch and visit the tribal market (on market days). Optional: Attend tribal ceremonies such as the Hamar Bull Jumping or Evangadi Dancing. Conclude your day with a 130 km drive (2 hours) back to Jinka. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at NESA Hotel Jinka.

Exploration of Mursi Tribe and Return to Addis Ababa Depart Jinka for a 50 km drive to the fascinating Mursi tribe, renowned for their distinctive lip plates. Delve into the unique culture and lifestyle of the Mursi people, residing between the Mago and Omo National Parks. Marvel at the striking beauty of the Mursi women adorned with lip plates, a tradition deeply rooted in their heritage. Return to Jinka and bid farewell as you're transferred to Jinka Airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. Embark on this unforgettable journey through the cultural tapestry of Ethiopia's Omo Valley, where every moment promises authentic encounters and enriching experiences.
