Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by an Otter African Safaris guide and
start your 4 to 5 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western
Uganda. You will have a first stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, where you
will have an hour of rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking experience, you
will proceed to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls, the
powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a
thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron, creating a trademark rainbow.
From the falls, you will continue in the park to check into the lodge.

Day 2

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as
early as 6 am and head into the park and look out for viewing the different mammals such as
elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes like Uganda kob,
topi, eland, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch and after join the boat cruise to
take you to the bottom of Murchison Falls as you spot aquatic wildlife such as hippos, Nile
crocodiles, and water birds. On return, catch up with sunset view before dinner and overnight
at the lodge.

Day 3

Exit Murchison Falls National Park and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Exit Murchison Falls National Park and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and start your journey to Queen's
Elizabeth National Park in Kasese in Western Uganda, through the tea plantations and rolling
hills, to reach Fort Portal town. While in Fort Portal, you will have an en-route lunch and
continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach the lodge where you
can relax and have some rest as you prepare for the following day’s game drive and boat cruise
in the rolling hills of the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and
overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, and depart for an early morning game drive as
early as 6 am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park, and look out for:
lions, leopards, Jackson hartebeest, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards,
Uganda Kobs, oribis, and elephants. For any birder, there are several birds to
See during the drive. Return to the lodge for some rest time and lunch. After lunch at the
Lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects the Lakes
George and Edward, and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos,
buffalo, elephants and crocodiles, among others.

Day 5

Exit Queen Elizabeth National Park and Transfer to Lake Mburo

Exit Queen Elizabeth National Park and Transfer to Lake Mburo

After your morning breakfast, you will exit the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park and
transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah national park in Uganda. You
will reach the park in the afternoon for lunch, and then go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo, which will reward you with wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, and lots of bird species. You
will then have an evening game drive where you will encounter wildlife such as giraffes,
zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Waterbucks, among others.

Day 6

Guided Nature walk and Transfer back

After your morning breakfast, the game rangers will take you for a guided walk to the salty
rocks at Rwonyo, where animals are found licking salt. After you will have a morning game
drive as you exit the park and set off to Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, you will have
a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment
that shows that Earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, and you will
have a chance to enjoy both hemispheres. You will have an en-route lunch, and you will
continue your journey to Kampala or Entebbe.
