Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Enat Ethiopia Tours and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour that includes Mount Entoto for panoramic views of the capital, the Institute of Ethiopian Studies, and the National Museum—home to the famous fossil "Lucy." Visit the grand Holy Trinity Cathedral and experience local life at the Mercato, Africa’s largest open-air market.

Day 2

Lake Tana Boat Excursion
After breakfast, guests are transferred to the airport for the Air Transfer to Bahir Dar. Upon arrival, they are met by the local guide and taken to their hotel. In the afternoon, a boat trip on Lake Tana offers visits to the Ura Kidane Mihret and Azoa Mariam monasteries on the Zege Peninsula. These 14th-century churches feature traditional round architecture and impressive wall paintings. The surrounding forest is rich in birdlife and occasionally monkeys. Hippos may also be seen on the lake.

Day 3

Bahir Dar – Blue Nile Falls – Drive to Gondar
After breakfast, guests visit the Blue Nile Falls, located about 35km from Bahir Dar. Known locally as “Tis Issat” (smoking water), the falls drop 45 meters and are especially impressive during the rainy season. After returning to Bahir Dar, there is time to explore the local market, famous for handmade jewelry, woven garments, ox-horn cups, and traditional baskets. In the afternoon, the journey continues by road to Gondar, a former royal capital known for its castles and churches.

In the morning, guests explore Gondar’s historic sites, including the royal enclosure of Fasil Ghebbi, home to several castles built by Ethiopian emperors. Visits include Fasilides’ Bath and Debre Berhan Selassie Church, renowned for its ceiling covered in angelic murals. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Simien Mountains National Park. The park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers dramatic landscapes and close encounters with endemic Gelada monkeys.

Guests spend the morning exploring the dramatic landscapes of Simien Mountains National Park, known for its deep valleys, jagged cliffs, and Ethiopia’s highest waterfall. A gentle two-hour walk offers scenic views and the chance to spot endemic wildlife and bird species. In the late afternoon, the group returns to Gondar for an overnight stay.

Explore the Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela
Today is dedicated to exploring the remarkable rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, often called the “8th Wonder of the World.” Carved directly from volcanic rock, the churches are connected by tunnels and passageways. The first cluster includes Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, and Bet Golgotha, among others. After lunch, guests visit the second group of churches, including the iconic Bet Giyorgis and Bet Emanuel, noted for its detailed architecture.

Day 7

Guests may attend a morning church service at one of Lalibela’s iconic rock-hewn churches. Then, fly to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, there is time for shopping or relaxing in the city. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Ethiopian dinner with live cultural music and dance at a local restaurant. After dinner, guests are transferred to the airport for their international departure.
