Day 1

Landing in Antananarivo, a local guide from the company will be assigned to welcome you in the Airport of Ivato. On the way we would discover a newly transplanted baobab, a decorative and welcoming statement, as a first appreciation of the beauty of the nature. Ongoing through the street of Tsarasaotra, we will discover the dynamic life of the city in Antananarivo. Heading straight to the Hotel, where the drive may take 1hours depending on the traffics.

Day 2

Antananarivo - Amborodia - Morondava

Antananarivo - Amborodia - Morondava

Early departure from the hotel, to reach the national airport of Antananarivo, where a private charter with the MTA company are waiting for us. Flying straight to Amborodia, where is located the National park of Tsingy de Bemaraha, the total time of flying may take about 1h30. Upon landing, a private 4WD is already waiting in the local airport, to head to the entrance of the Park.
The trail would take 4 hours maximum, in the path of Andamozavaky.
After the visit of the Tsingy we will take flight from Andamozavaky and head back to Morondava city, in order to enjoy the view on the baobab alley, and enjoy the sunset (Note: the boabab alley is where lonely planet have done his greatest photo all over Madagascar).

After breakfast, heading to the capitol city of Antananarivo still with a private charter of MTA. The today's program would be an afternoon visit of an ornithologist center in Tsarasaotra Antananarivo, in order to spot endemic birds that breed only in Madagascar.

Anjajavy le lodge protects a 1,030-hectare Private reserve and manages a 10,000 hectare National Protected area which features seven types of natural habitats.

Sakalava tribes Walk:
Discover the underground microcosm of this small network of caves in a hillinside the Private Reserve. Explore its amazing speleothems such as glowing flowstones, stalactites and stalagamites.
With a little luck you will observe two species of bats: western sheath tailed bat (Paremballonura tiavato) and leaf-nosed bat (Hipposideros commersoni).

Easy with rocky paths and fairly steep slope of 300 m.

Today's activities is about the a wildlife view in "the Crab Path walk".

Follow the path lined with baobabs and tsingy walls through the mangrove swamps where the famous hairy crabs live.
Inside a chaos of rocks, at the foot of a tsingy wall, is the entrance shaft of the fossilcave. Descend a ladder 5 meters into the ground and, at the bottom of the chasm, you will find sub fossils of extinct giant lemurs (Paleopropithecus kelyus). An endemic bat species, the western sheath tailed bat (Paremballonura tiavato) is often observed.
Distance: 1,5 km.
Duration : 1,5 to 2 hours.
Difficulties : 5 m ladder to climb down, slopes of slippery caves. Warm and humid inside the cave.
Guidance : Included, grouped excursion with 8 people per groupmaximum.
Equipement : Walking shoes, long pants, mosquito repellent and flashlight if you have one.
Condition : The cave is closed
during the rainy season.

Day 6

Today's activities is about the a wildlife view from :"Cove to Cove"
Walk along this path, over the cliffs and into the forest and discover the deserted and beautiful beaches to the south of the Lodge’s private peninsula.
If you are lucky you will be able to observe the majestic and extremely rare Madagascar fish eagle (Haliaeetus vociferoides) around the cove IV & V. Visit the wide beach of Cove V before returning by the loop of Cove III or, at low tide, by the mangrove Anaty-Honko. If the sea is clear, you can snorkel around the islets of cove III.

Recommended departure time: Early morning, or after 4:00 pm.
Distance : 5 km.
Duration : 2,5 to 3 hours.
Difficulty: Rocky paths, many rustic stairs.
Guidance : The excursion can be done by yourselves, but a guide is mandatory if you plan to visit
the village of Kinga.
Equipement : Sandals, swimsuit, towels and possibly snorkels and fins (available at the swimming pool). A flashlight if you leave in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, we still have few hour to enjoy the beauty of Anjanjavy. The departure from Anjajavy – Antananarivo : 09h30 – 11h00, with a private charter always with the MTA company, upon landing in the airport of Ivato, our service would be to drop to the hotel or into the international Airport. Whereas, our service will take end with the last transfer.
