Depart after an early breakfast for the legendary Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the crater highlands and can stop at a Maasai village for an optional cultural tour. Once you enter the Serengeti, the terrain opens into sweeping plains filled with wildlife. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route to Friends Serengeti Camp, your base for the next two nights. Wake up to the sounds of the wild and embark on a full day of game drives across the Serengeti’s diverse ecosystems. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, where over 1.5 million animals traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. Your guide will also help you track predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Break for a bush picnic under a shady tree before continuing the drive. As the sun sets, return to camp for a warm shower and storytelling by the campfire.
