After breakfast, depart Nairobi and drive south through scenic savannah landscapes to Amboseli National Park, a 4.5 to 5-hour journey. Enjoy your first views of wildlife along the way, including herds of cattle tended by Maasai. Arrive in time for lunch at AA Lodge Amboseli, located near the park gate. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, with excellent chances of spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo, all set against the backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, driving back through Nairobi and ascending the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. En route, stop at a viewpoint overlooking the vast valley floor. Continue to Naivasha, arriving in the afternoon at the tranquil Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp, set along the lakeshore and surrounded by acacia trees. Settle in and enjoy dinner as you watch birds and hippos along the lake’s edge. The evening is free to relax or explore the lodge surroundings.

Day 4

Start the day with a boat safari across Lake Naivasha’s serene waters, getting close to pods of hippos and abundant birdlife such as fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. After docking on Crescent Island, take a guided walking safari—a rare opportunity to stroll safely among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes with no fences or predators. Return to the camp for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the lakefront or adding optional activities like horse riding or local village visits. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast, drive a short distance to Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, geothermal features, and lava-carved landscapes. Rent a bike (or use your own vehicle if preferred) and cycle through the park, passing zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, and giraffes. Hike down into Hell’s Gate Gorge to see rock towers, hot springs, and steam vents. Break for a picnic lunch, and in the afternoon, you may visit the Olkaria Geothermal Spa for a dip in natural hot pools. Return to Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Depart in the morning for a 1.5-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO-recognized bird and wildlife sanctuary. Enter the park and begin your game drives along the lake shore, where thousands of flamingos gather seasonally. Continue to the acacia woodlands and grasslands to search for white and black rhinos, lions, leopards, waterbucks, and baboons. Enjoy a picnic lunch or dine at a nearby lodge restaurant inside the park. Visit Baboon Cliff for breathtaking views before exiting the park. Check in to Ziwa Bush Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.

Continue to the nearby Kazuri Beads Women’s Factory, where you can see handmade ceramic jewelry crafted by local women artisans. If time allows, tour the Karen Blixen Museum for a glimpse into Kenya’s colonial past. Settle in for your final night at Hotel Rudi or a similar boutique lodge on bed and breakfast.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a relaxed breakfast before check-out or opt for additional sightseeing. Your driver-guide will assist with any final transfers to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. End of tour.
