Today, you will have a half-day game drive in Serengeti. After lunch, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. There are several documented resident lion prides just within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera. During the dry season, the resident prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park. The dry season is a particularly good time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti. The Central Serengeti is also one of the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard. You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Simba Campsite.

Large herds of zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Later afternoon, you'll ascend from the crater and drive for dinner and overnight stay at Kizumba Campsite on a full board basis.
