Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari starts with a 2-hour drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. When you arrive, you’ll see big baobab trees, wide open grasslands, and seasonal swamps. Tarangire is famous for its large groups of elephants, and it’s one of the best places to see them up close. You’ll also spot animals like buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, often followed by lions. Leopards are sometimes seen, but cheetahs are rare. From your safari vehicle with an open roof, you can enjoy great views of the animals and the landscape. In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

You’ll start your day in Mto wa Mbu and drive through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying amazing views along the way. When you arrive in the Central Serengeti, your safari adventure begins right away with a game drive from late morning to afternoon. This area is full of animals like lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. After a short rest at your lodge or camp, you’ll go on an evening game drive. This is a great time to see animals being active and to enjoy the sunset over the plains. Central Serengeti is one of the best places to see wildlife all year round. After the game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Day 3

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On the last day, you’ll leave Central Serengeti early in the morning for a 2 to 3-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. When you arrive, you’ll go straight into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is full of animals all year round because it has water and grass. You’ll see animals like zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, hippos, and more.

The crater is also a great place to see predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and sometimes even leopards. You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow lake where flamingos, hippos, and many birds gather.

After a picnic lunch inside the crater, you’ll drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). This will be the end of your amazing safari adventure.
