Durban to Phinda Forest Lodge

Guests have several options of private road transfers between Durban (King Shaka International Airport) /
Richards Bay Airport and Phinda Forest Lodge, drives of between 2 to 4 hours.
Alternatively, you can fly directly into the game reserve’s airstrip with Federal Air. MoAfrika can assist with booking scheduled commercial flights to these airports.

Upon arrival at Phinda Forest Lodge, you can enjoy some refreshments and relax until it is time for the afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, with sundowners and snacks along the drive. Take along the complimentary pair of Swarovski Optik binoculars for the best views of elusive animals.
Back at the lodge, a scrumptious starlit dinner awaits.

Morning & Sundowner Safaris

Rise early for a hot drink before you depart on the early morning game drive, during which you can enjoy a bush cappuccino rendezvous between searches for animals.
Back at the lodge you can savour brunch before more relaxing until high tea in the afternoon.
Your afternoon game drive will follow the pattern of the previous evening, rounded off by dinner again.

After an early rise and favourite hot drink, your last morning game drive will offer another opportunity of spotting some nocturnal animals still hunting around, another African sunrise and brunch back at the lodge, before it is time for your departure.
You can also swop the morning game drive for an exhilarating bush walk with your aptly qualified and expert guide.
