Arusha to Tarangire national park

Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in this beautiful park known for its huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and rich wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and many antelope species. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue with more game viewing.

In the late afternoon, drive to your campsite, where you'll set up camp and enjoy dinner by the campfire.

Day 2

Tarangire to Lake Manyara

Tarangire to Lake Manyara

After breakfast, head into Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive.

This compact park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and scenic groundwater forests filled with baboons and monkeys. You may also spot hippos, elephants, and plenty of birdlife.

After a picnic lunch inside the park, you’ll drive up to the Ngorongoro highlands and camp near Karatu or the Ngorongoro Gate, preparing for the crater tour the next day.

Day 3

Ngorongoro to Arusha

Ngorongoro to Arusha

Wake up early for breakfast, then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas.

The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and—if you're lucky—the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, then continue your game drive before ascending the crater in the early afternoon.

Begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon to conclude your safari.
