You will be picked up by Sunday safaris representative and drive to Arusha town where you will get the briefing information concerning your Safari. Depending on arrival time you may get an option to do a Arusha town tour where you will visit local markets, old boma as well try a local lunch or just relax at the lodge.

South Serengeti National Park

Leave Arusha early in the morning after breakfast and drive to South Serengeti as you will drive through Ngorongoro Highland. In this day you will be able experience the Wildebeests migration where two Millions animals are moving clockwise between South Serengeti-Central Serengeti-North Serengeti until Maasai mara in Kenya. Highlight of South Serengeti is sighting of big six species of Cats like Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Caracal, African wildcat and Serval. Apart of Wildebeests migration you can enjoy the big animals like Giraffes, Elephants, Elands, Buffaloes, Hippos. Major two lakes in South Serengeti which are Lake Masek where is home of Hippos and Lake Ndutu which is Aqua birds Paradise where you can spot birds like Flamingos, Stillt, Ducks, Herons, teals and much more.

Leave your camp after breakfast for a game drive where you will spend the whole day in Ndutu plains which are covered by Millions of Wildebeests and Zebras. Ndutu Plains is a home of Birds of Prey like Vulture, Eagles and kites which are mostly seen nesting and relaxing on top of Acacia trees. Big heard of Elephants and Giraffes are freely roaming around lake Masek while Cheetah are chasing Wildebeests on the Plains. Dec to March being the birth season of wildebeests where around 8,000 calves are born everyday.

Drive to Arusha after breakfast and you will take a packed lunch with you. Arrive in the Arusha around noon when you will go to crest safari lodge to relax ready for ypur next destination or fly back home.
