Day 2

Day two is a full-day game drive, giving you the chance to explore the vast, wildlife rich terrain of the Maasai Mara. With a picnic lunch packed, you’ll spend the day chasing adventure spotting lions lounging in the shade, elephants crossing open plains, and possibly a cheetah in mid-hunt. For a once in a lifetime experience, you can also opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (optional, at extra cost), drifting silently over the golden plains followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush.

On day three, you'll set out once again for a full-day safari with picnic lunch. This is your chance to explore different corners of the reserve, perhaps following herds of wildebeest or catching a glimpse of the elusive leopard. If you're interested in culture, you can also choose to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their unique customs and way of life. In the evening, return to camp for dinner under the stars and stories around the fire.

After breakfast on day four, you’ll fly back to Nairobi and connect to your second safari destination Amboseli National Park. From the sky, Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak makes a striking welcome as you descend into a new landscape of wild open plains and wetlands. You’ll be transferred to your lodge, where you can relax and soak in the views, with a chance to spot elephants or giraffes nearby.

Highlights include Observation Hill and the seasonal swamps that attract hippos, buffaloes, and an array of birdlife.
