Day 3

Depart from Amboseli after breakfast and head towards Lake Naivasha, which takes about 5 hours by road. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can see hippos and numerous bird species. You may also visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for walking safaris among wildlife.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake and is very popular for birdwatching, with notable birds like the Kingfisher. The kingfisher uses the papyrus as a perch, while the Herons hide in it while hunting and searching for food.

Today promises an incredible experience as you meet the majestic Mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest! After a delicious breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge for a briefing before heading into the misty forest. Along the way, you'll encounter not only the gentle giants but also other wildlife such as buffalo, elephants, monkeys, butterflies, and a variety of bird species. You'll have one hour to spend with the gorillas, and trekking can take anywhere from one to eight hours, depending on their location. In the evening, you might enjoy a guided nature walk or a visit to the local community.

After the trek, you will transfer to Musanze in Rwanda for the golden monkey tracking experience. You will cross through the Cyanika Border post.
