Day 1

You will depart from Nairobi and head west toward the Masai Mara, enjoying the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley escarpments along the way. The first stop will be at a viewpoint, giving you the chance to fully appreciate the grandeur of the valley. The second stop will be in Narok for a hot lunch before continuing to the camp or park. The journey showcases a variety of landscapes from Nairobi to the Mara. After checking in and refreshing, enjoy an afternoon game drive to spot some remarkable wildlife, followed by dinner and your overnight stay at our fully furnished camp, which offers hot showers and buffet-style meals tailored to your preferences.

Day 2

After breakfast, set off for a full-day game drive and enjoy the stunning Mara savannah, with its rolling hills and diverse wildlife. The reserve is famous for the seasonal Great Wildebeest Migration occurring between July and September. With some luck, you may spot all of the “Big Five”—or at least one or two. The area is also home to a wide variety of bird species, which create a magnificent spectacle. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, then continue the search for wildlife until late evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

After breakfast, you’ll visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and participate in various activities (note that this activity costs an additional $20 per person). Afterwards, depart for Nakuru, stopping for lunch in Mai Mahiu. Along the way, enjoy the stunning views of Mount Longonot and catch a glimpse of Lake Naivasha. You may also choose to take part in an optional boat ride on the lake. Continue your journey to Nakuru, where dinner and your overnight stay await at your hotel.
