Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning (at your agreed departure time), your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in
Arusha and drive approximately 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set at the base of
the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. This lush park remains green year-round thanks to underground water
sources, attracting a stunning array of migratory and wetland birds, including a large number of
flamingos.
Lake Manyara is also home to rich wildlife such as large troops of baboons, vervet and blue monkeys,
tree-climbing lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, warthogs, kudus, elands, bushbucks,
waterbucks, and impalas.
After your game drive, you will continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart with a packed lunch for a memorable game drive on the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Formed over 3 million years ago, this vast volcanic caldera is the largest in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Home to over 25,000 animals, its grasslands and acacia forests host an array of wildlife, including the famed Big Five—rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard—plus many other East African species. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, ascend the crater and proceed to your lodge inside Tarangire National Park for a relaxing evening and dinner.
Special Experience: At Maramboi Camp, enjoy a complimentary nature walk guided by local experts. This walk to Lake Manyara and back offers a chance to stretch, explore the terrain on foot, and connect with the African wilderness in a unique and intimate way.
