From December to March, the Great Migration pauses here to welcome new life, as more than 400,000 wildebeest calves are born on these plains. Your final safari stop is Lake Manyara National Park, just 45 minutes from Karatu. Depending on your departure time, you'll have the chance to freshen up before heading to Kilimanjaro Airport (1–1.5 hours).
