Day 1

On the first day, you'll depart Arusha after breakfast around 8:00 AM and drive for approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach Tarangire National Park. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a game drive through the park, well known for its striking baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you explore along the Tarangire River, keep an eye out for lions, zebras, wildebeest, and various bird species. In the evening, you'll head to your accommodation near Tarangire in the nearby Mto wa Mbu area for an overnight stay.

On Day 2, you'll take a short morning drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive through its lush forest and lakeshore, where you may see tree-climbing lions, flamingos, monkeys, and hippos. After a picnic lunch in the park, you can opt for a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village or explore the local market in Mto wa Mbu. The day concludes with an overnight stay at a lodge near Lake Manyara or in Karatu.

On Day 3, you'll leave early and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you'll descend for a half-day game drive in search of black rhinos, lions, buffalo, and other wildlife. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, the journey continues with a scenic drive to Central Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate, arriving by sunset. You’ll then settle in for the night at a lodge or tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti.

Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration as herds move through the region. You can choose to start the day with an optional sunrise game drive or a hot air balloon safari for a unique aerial view of the plains. In the evening, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.
