Day 1

After an early breakfast, meet up with your guide who will brief you about the trip you’ll set off on a scenic journey to Kibale National Park. The drive takes you through stunning countryside landscapes, dotted with charming villages, verdant forests, and sprawling tea plantations. You'll pause in Fort Portal a picturesque town celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and captivating scenery to enjoy a leisurely lunch before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, you will head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided community walk. The 2-3-hour walk takes you along wooden boardwalks and forest trails. Great Blue Turaco, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and swamp-dwelling wildlife are common sights. After this activity head to the lodge for checking in and Have dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Chimpanzee trekking experience
Chimpanzee trekking experience
Wake up early in the morning and prepare for the chimpanzee trekking, have breakfast and then you will be transfered to Kanyanchu Visitor Center by 7:30 AM for a briefing. Begin chimpanzee trekking at 8:00 AM. The trek may take 2 -4 hours depending on chimp locations. You may also spot red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, olive baboons, and over 200 bird species. Spend up to 1 hour observing chimpanzees once located. After this activity you will head on your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe with an enroute lunch.
