1-Day Mountain Gorilla Trekking Tour in Rwanda

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your driver will meet you at your hotel or the airport and transport you to the Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. The park is only two and a half hours away, making it easier for you to arrive in time for your gorilla trekking adventure.
When you arrive at the park headquarters in Kinigi, Musanze district, you will register and be briefed about gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will be separated into groups and allocated a ranger and gorilla family to monitor. You will enter the jungle and begin the adventure, which may last between 1 and 5 hours.

The walk is strenuous, but the experience of seeing these mountain gorillas in their native habitat is unforgettable. One hour will be enough for you to spend quality time with these amazing creatures. After the hike, you will return to the headquarters to get your trekking credentials and packed lunch as you get transferred back to the airport.
