Day 1

Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Culture

Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Culture

We will pick you up at 9 am from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and head to Materuni village. After registering at the village office, a 45-minute trek leads you to the waterfalls for scenic views and a cultural glimpse of the Chagga people. If you're feeling adventurous, take a dip in the cool pool at the base of the waterfall. Return via a new path and take part in an interactive coffee tour where locals guide you through bean preparation, roasting, and brewing. Enjoy lunch prepared by local mamas with traditional Chagga recipes. After this enriching day, head to Arusha for your overnight stay.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha early and head straight to Tarangire National Park. As you drive through the park, admire its baobab-studded landscape, winding rivers, and massive elephant herds. Tarangire is a wildlife haven during the dry season, hosting buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and big cats. Explore open plains and seasonal swamps with ample photographic opportunities. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge for a warm dinner and restful night.
