Diani/Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins early at 7:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel in either Diani Beach or Mombasa. You’ll drive along the scenic Mombasa-Nairobi Highway toward Tsavo East National Park, the largest and one of the oldest national parks in Kenya. Known for its red elephants and vast, open savannahs, Tsavo East offers a true wilderness experience. You’ll arrive at the park around mid-day, where you'll check in to your lodge or camp and enjoy a well-prepared lunch.

Take the early afternoon to relax, take in the surroundings, and enjoy views of the wild plains. At around 3:00 PM, you’ll head out for your first game drive in the park, keeping an eye out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of birds. The journey takes approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, passing through the heart of Kenya’s countryside and small bustling towns.

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your city hotel or directly at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, depending on your onward travel plans. Reflect on the memorable experiences and breathtaking landscapes you've encountered over the past four days. Your safari may end here, but the memories will surely last a lifetime.
