Your safari adventure begins at 7 AM with pickup from your beach hotel in Mombasa or Diani. Enjoy a scenic drive inland as the lush coastal landscape gives way to the red-soiled plains of Tsavo East National Park. Known as one of Kenya’s oldest and largest parks, Tsavo East is famed for its vast savannah, red elephants, and the Galana River.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch while taking in views of the surrounding wilderness. Spend your early afternoon relaxing before heading out for a thrilling evening game drive. This is your first chance to spot wildlife like lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes in their natural habitat. As the sun sets, the park glows in golden hues, creating perfect photo opportunities. After the drive, return to your lodge for dinner. Unwind and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of nature under a starlit sky.

Day 2

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out for a half-day game drive across Tsavo East's sweeping plains. Watch out for wildlife along the banks of the Galana River and at popular waterholes where animals gather to drink. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting some of the 500 species recorded in the park, including hornbills, starlings, and secretary birds.
Around midday, return to the lodge for a hot lunch and some well-deserved relaxation during the hotter hours. Take in the serenity of the lodge’s surroundings or dip into the pool while watching animals from a distance. In the late afternoon, embark on another game drive when the cooler temperatures draw more animals into the open. With luck, you may spot elusive predators like leopards or cheetahs hunting. Return to your lodge as night falls. Enjoy a warm dinner and share the day’s highlights before retiring to your room for a restful overnight stay.

Day 3

After a relaxed breakfast, check out of your lodge and depart around 9 AM for the scenic drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Nestled between Tsavo East and West, this private sanctuary offers a unique mix of rolling hills and acacia woodland teeming with wildlife. Arrive in time to check in and enjoy lunch with views of the lush sanctuary landscape. The afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the lodge’s viewing decks, often visited by elephants and zebras.
At 4 PM, set out for an evening game drive within the sanctuary, where you may spot lions, giraffes, hartebeests, and more in an intimate, less crowded setting. The sanctuary is also rich in birdlife and offers spectacular backdrops for photography. Return to your lodge just after sunset. Day 4

Depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoying a scenic drive past traditional villages and Mount Kilimanjaro’s rising silhouette in the distance. Arrive in Amboseli by early afternoon and check in at your lodge, set against the iconic backdrop of Africa’s highest peak.
After a hearty lunch, take time to relax and soak in the panoramic views of the savannah. At around 4 PM, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli, where vast open plains make it easy to spot large herds of elephants. You may also encounter wildebeests, zebras, lions, and cheetahs, with the snow-capped Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop. As dusk falls, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening. Day 5

Fuel up with breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in Amboseli, one of Kenya’s most photographed parks. Your guide will pack picnic lunch boxes so you can spend the entire day exploring the park’s marshes, dry lake beds, and acacia woodlands without returning to the lodge. The park is especially famous for its close encounters with elephants, many of which are large-tusked bulls that roam freely.
Throughout the day, you may also spot lions resting in the shade, hyenas on patrol, or flocks of flamingos on the seasonal Lake Amboseli. Stop at Observation Hill for panoramic views and to stretch your legs during lunch. Continue your adventure with more wildlife sightings before returning to your lodge between 3 and 4 PM. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure, perhaps watching the sunset over Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a final dinner in the heart of Amboseli and a restful night before your safari concludes.

Day 6
Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, at around 9 AM, check out and begin your drive to Nairobi, passing through rural communities and scenic savannah along the way. If you wish, you can add an optional visit to a Maasai village to experience the culture and traditions of one of Kenya’s most iconic tribes. The journey takes you northward back to the capital, arriving by early to mid-afternoon.
Your driver will drop you off at your Nairobi hotel or directly at the airport, depending on your onward travel plans. As your safari comes to a close, reflect on the incredible wildlife encounters, sweeping landscapes, and vibrant cultures you’ve experienced over the past six days.
