After an early breakfast, meet your professional guide who will brief you about the journey ahead before departing for Kibale National Park. The scenic drive takes you through Uganda’s picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, tea plantations, forested areas, and vibrant rural villages.
You will stop in Fort Portal town for lunch. Known for its beautiful landscapes and cultural heritage, Fort Portal sits at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains and offers a refreshing break before continuing to Kibale National Park.
Upon arrival, proceed to your lodge Kibale Forest Camp for check-in. Spend the evening relaxing, followed by dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking Experience
Chimpanzee Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, you will head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for registration and a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your chimpanzee trekking adventure at 8:00 AM. Guided by experienced trackers, you’ll walk through Kibale’s dense rainforest, following forest trails and listening for chimpanzee calls echoing through the canopy.
The trek typically lasts 2–4 hours and offers opportunities to spot other primates such as red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and olive baboons, along with colorful birds and butterflies.
Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat as they feed, play, groom, and interact. After the trek, you’ll return to the visitor centre to receive your chimpanzee trekking certificate before proceeding to your lodge at Kibale Forest Camp for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3
Bigodi walk and transfer to kampala
Bigodi walk and transfer to kampala
After breakfast, check out and head to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided 2–3-hour nature walk through forest trails, papyrus swamps, and raised wooden boardwalks. The sanctuary is rich in birdlife and primates, with chances to spot the Great Blue Turaco, red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, vervet monkeys, and olive baboons.
Your guide will share insights about the wetland ecosystem, conservation efforts, and the local community. After the walk, visit a nearby cultural center to enjoy traditional music and dance, learn about local coffee processing, and explore handmade crafts and artwork, offering an authentic community experience.
