Day 2

Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro

Foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the beautiful Materuni Waterfall, located 2,500 meters above sea level. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, you'll explore the scenic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, spotting birds, chameleons, and lush coffee and banana plantations along the way.

At the waterfall, take a refreshing swim in the pristine natural pools before heading back to the nearby village for an engaging coffee tour.

Next, we'll drive you to the Chemka Hot Springs, where you can relax and swim in crystal-clear natural pools filled with small fish. Remember to bring your swimming clothes! Enjoy drinks while unwinding in the tranquil waters until evening, before we return you to your accommodation in Arusha.

Begin your morning early with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee before heading out with a packed breakfast. The early hours are ideal for wildlife viewing, especially predators, which are most active during the night and just after dawn.

Set off on a game drive from the central Serengeti to the eastern plains, keeping watch for cheetahs sprinting across the grasslands, lions lounging on rocky outcrops, and a host of other fascinating wildlife. Continue your exploration into the early afternoon, then either return to your lodge for a hot lunch or enjoy a picnic-style meal in the heart of the wilderness.

Later in the day, journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with chances to spot even more wildlife—lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and hyenas—all against a backdrop of sweeping savannah and dramatic scenery.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, your safari guide will lead you into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience. Sustained by a year-round supply of water and lush vegetation, the crater hosts a remarkable variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, warthogs, hippos, and the majestic African elephant. It's also renowned for its dense predator population, with regular sightings of lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.

You'll visit Lake Magadi, a shallow, alkaline lake nestled in the southwest corner of the crater, where you can observe flocks of flamingos, pods of hippos, and a range of waterfowl. Later, enjoy a short walking safari near the hippo pool at Engutoku Tok—a chance to stretch your legs and take in the scenery—before continuing on a scenic drive capped off with a delicious lunch.

Day 7

Tarangire National Park

Your final safari day begins with a hearty breakfast before setting off for Tarangire National Park, with a scenic drive through Lake Manyara National Park and a half-day game drive en route. Arriving at Tarangire by 9:00 AM, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush landscapes featuring acacia and mahogany trees.

Enjoy a game drive through the park until mid-afternoon, with a picnic lunch along the way. Be on the lookout for buffalo, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. If you’re fortunate, you may catch sight of the park's famous tree-climbing lions or, in the right season, witness the lake’s shoreline transformed into a sea of pink by thousands of flamingos.

By mid-afternoon, you’ll begin your return journey to Arusha. You'll be dropped off at your preferred location by around 6:00 PM, bringing your unforgettable safari adventure to a close.
