Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, depending on your tour package. This day is meant for rest and recovery after your journey, giving you time to settle into your accommodation and adjust to the local environment. In the evening, you'll meet your guide for a detailed safari briefing, where you'll go over the itinerary, ask questions, and get prepared for the exciting days ahead. Your night will be spent at a comfortable hotel or lodge, providing a relaxing start to your Tanzanian adventure.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of about 2 to 3 hours from Arusha or Moshi. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and dramatic seasonal wildlife migrations. Keep your eyes open for a variety of animals including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and a wide range of bird species, making Tarangire a must-visit destination for nature lovers.

In the morning, you’ll set off on a scenic 3–4 hour drive to Lake Eyasi, located on the southern edge of the Ngorongoro highlands. In the afternoon, you'll visit a Hadzabe community, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. This immersive cultural experience includes learning how they make fire, use bows and arrows for hunting, and practice their traditional lifestyle and customs. The day ends with dinner and relaxation at a lodge or tented camp near the peaceful shores of Lake Eyasi.
