Arusha to Tarangire NP

Your safari adventure begins today! Your professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your first game drive, exploring the park’s rich wildlife and stunning landscapes.

Covering nearly 3,000 square kilometers, Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River that runs through the park. During the dry season (June to November), the river becomes a magnet for wildlife, attracting large concentrations of animals in search of water—making it a prime time for game viewing.

Home to over 2,000 elephants and more than 500 bird species, Tarangire offers an incredible introduction to Tanzania’s natural wonders.

In the late afternoon, you'll head to the Luxury Lodge, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by comfort and beautiful views.

Continuing onward, you’ll arrive in the vast Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive. As the golden sun begins to dip toward the horizon, you’ll explore the seemingly endless plains in search of wildlife.

The Serengeti is one of the planet’s most spectacular wildlife habitats, home to an estimated three million animals, including the Big Five and hosts of other species. It’s best known for the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
